Realistic game situations that raise speed of play, awareness and decision-making.

Players do not play in lines of cones. If a session never looks like the game, it will not transfer to the game. Every exercise I run has an opponent, a direction, a decision and a consequence.
That is what raises speed of play: not running faster, but recognising the picture earlier.
Sessions are built around repetition with variation. The player repeats the same principle — scanning, first touch away from pressure, breaking a line — but the situation keeps changing, so they have to read it rather than memorise it.
I use small numbers where possible: more touches, more decisions, more feedback per player. Then we scale it up into larger group work so the principle holds when the space and the pressure change.
The intensity is real, and so is the standard. Players leave a session tired in the right way — physically and mentally.
